It's a little bit like that. Amseli would like to find some more people for her to live with when she hatches. Does she want to be with the one in the other egg? Does she know what kinds of things she'll want to see once out?

...Thinking is hard. Being near another hatchling sounds vaguely scary. Living with people sounds vaguely scary too. She doesn't know what things there are to see.

Amseli would guess that she'd want lots of wild outdoor space but needs to narrow it down. Why would living with people be scary?
