"Oh that world had, like, any idea that other dimensions exist, and that kind of magic straight-up doesn't work out of dimension."

"Huh! Can you get in touch with them? Could they help with the exploring?"

"Good...question? I could try. I don't have a great way to find them specifically though."

"What have you got in the nonspecifically department?"

"...Figuring out how to target worlds in general? Which is probably going to have to wait until I have any idea how to do dimensional travel in general."

"It seems weirdly - specific and neat - that one world had dimensional travel as an area of study at all and it's one with completely unportable magic. I almost said 'importable' but that would mean something else."

"I mean it's not the only world with dimensional travel at all, it's just the one we were talking about."

"Who else had it?"

"Well the one with the undone timeline had that summoning thing, and the one Lulu is from had some planar stuff and..."

She lists several dimensions and whatever kind of dimensional nonsense they had going on.

"...and I can't be sure that was all of them, obviously."

"The multiverse is so frickin' huge. You'd better make me immortal, I wanna see it all."

"I will make you so immortal!" People being immortal is GREAT.

"Will it be robust against my occasional flirtations with suicidal solipsism, I fucking hate those but approach them more often than never when I'm saving lives and stuff."

"Making you impossible to kill as well as unaging is harder but I do have some miscellaneously gathered advice for not committing suicide?"

"I'm not a suicide risk when I'm not having delusions of being the only person who exists in the entire universe, it just turns out that's really upsetting!"

"--Huh, would not have guessed it would go in that direction!"

"The loneliness isn't a mood, it's a magical curse. I am compelled to talk to people but it doesn't actually help, the only thing that actually helps till you whip a solution out of your magical smorgasbord over there is guiding. So when it's really bad, I notice that nothing that feels like it's supposed to help does, and if I'm too far gone I start coming to loony conclusions about why that might be, like, 'this doesn't feel satisfying the way I'm emotionally convinced talking to a person would be because that's not a person'. I try to stay very far away from that unless June's in the dungeon with me, I can tell she's real. Though I can't really act on it very much because if we're in a nasty dungeon she definitely doesn't wanna talk to me."

"I mean I knew it was a magical curse but I did not have a good enough model of it to predict that specific outcome. Uh, the specific thing I had to share was--a resolution to, if you're going to kill yourself, have some particularly inconvenient way to do it, so that if you ever decide to kill yourself you have to go through some series of steps in order to do so, and then hopefully by the time you make it through the steps you have decided not to."

"Iiiii don't think that would dovetail that well with my use case but noted in case of applicability."

"Yeah, no, your thing sounds. Stickier."

"Quite."

"I don't suppose it would help to posit the existence of actual people in alternate realities."

"It actually might! Like, it's a delusion, it's not that amenable to reason, it can conclude that everyone everywhere except June if she's within guiding distance is not a person based on the belief that whatever rando I'm rescuing from a dungeon right then isn't, but maybe it will help that I can remind myself that somewhere there are awesome dragons and maybe those are people and the problem could just be that I haven't met any dragons yet."

"Some of the dragons are telepathic so that might help for observing that they're people!"

"That would not help much because my power makes psychic contact attempts bounce off me! It's selective and I could undo it but, like, I'd have to decide to do that, and I so far haven't been even fleetingly tempted to let a psychic dungeon manhandle my brain no matter how lonely I am, even when I want to introduce myself to monsters."

"Oh hm. Well, there's something, I'm sure. Big multiverse."
