A dark space, lit with eerie green light. In front, four hovering pictures. Soft, instrumental music.
And two women, unconscious, in front of them.
It feels warm, and whole. Anya can feel the parts of Tabs that are hurting, and she knows she can fix them.
...she does so. Reaches forward and touches Tabs, healing her. It's so warm and cozy and nice. And it also kinda tickles.
Anya does not. But she does rest. She hopes it's just the usual thing of not being able to sleep in weird not-her-own places, because that is surmountable. So long as she eventually gets a place that she can call her own.
Also hopefully her stamina spell will help her be not so exhausted tomorrow. Or she gets manic and crashes. That works too.
Merrill gets up somewhere near sunrise, and helps the other residents of her house make breakfast for the day workers. A couple of kids poke their heads into her room, but she shuffles them out.
Merrill recognises the signs of insomnia, and directs her to the fireplace, to make sure the early morning workers have tea.
Every one of the elves thanks Anya, and some give her suspicious looks, but Merrill grins enough to hopefully dissuade them.
This is fair. She is a strange human in their space. If they weren't suspicious she would think something was wrong.
Once some of the elves have headed off to work, Merrill makes sure some of the younger ones are put to work washing up, giggling along with them.
Anya decides to leave them be for a while and heads outside to get some fresh air.
She gets a few odd looks, some outright hostile ones, but no one approaches her.
...Okay, she can instead head out of the alienage altogether. Not far though. She doesn't wanna be murdered by some random street thug. Is there some sort of... bench anywhere?
Plenty of overturned crates, stacked up building materials, a couple unconscious beings-
Oookay. She will just take one of the crates and tuck herself away into a small spot in between two buildings. And kind of just flop. She wishes she had her phone. Or her laptop. Even just some music. Something to do with her hands. She can feel her magic buzzing in the back of her mind. Well, something is buzzing. Probably just low-level mania. But still. She's so full of energy and she's also tired and bored -
