She really hopes they've all just accidentally gone out in the sunlight and died.

That's a possibility! But it continues to be eerily silent and empty.

Well, they keep doing it. Eva makes sure she's going the right direction.

Aaaand they reach a dead end. The crystal is certain it's that way.

What if Evelyn lightly pokes the wall.

It is quite solid.

What if she pokes it less lightly? Or pokes around different parts of it.

She's the Slayer, no mere wall can withstand her wrath should she decide to apply it.

– She really hopes there are no vampires about to chew on her because that'd be pretty awful let's be honest.

She very carefully stands near the opening, trying to listen for anyone nearby, and then briefly looks through it.

The opening is a hole near the ceiling of a large chamber—the cave she remembers from the dream.

And seated on a throne, with his eyes closed, one of the ugliest vampires ever.

– Well okay then.

She points and makes a face at Norma! (That's where! How do they do this!)

She looks and frowns.

"I know you're here," the vampire says without opening his eyes.

Oh fuck.

She really hopes he's bluffing but he's probably not.

Her face probably says it all: she is asking Norma for guidance.
