A growing challenge
Salmons and Carmines in Sunnyverse

The gang gets around to performing some more tests on Theo. He continues to have pretty good healing, except when hurt by wood and iron, both of which seem to short-circuit his demon magic and hurt him more than regular materials (iron being worse than metal). If there are any other magical effects, they're not obvious enough to be discovered during the following few days, during which Norma trains Ev (who has a couple followup nightmares).

She has enough social leeway to hang out with the weird kids (Sadde and Willow) without being seen badly, but not enough to directly intervene with Brad, who continues to be terrible. And then it's Sadde's birthday, on a Wednesday, when there's class. Woo, class on a birthday, what a delight.
