They go through town! It's relatively quiet seeing as how it is getting darker!

Then they get to the graveyard.

"I believe we want to find the cave you dreamt of, yes?"

"Yes. So to the mausoleum and into the caves?"

"Yes. Keep your stake at the ready, though."

She does.

They walk into the mausoleum. Norma gives Eva the crystal.

Then, assuming they are not ambushed there – Eva has an eye out – they will go through the fake coffin!

The crystal starts glowing faintly.

Does it point in a direction? Or change if she spins around or something?

Nope. Seems to just be faintly glowing.

"Pick a direction and see if it changes?"

"Maybe... But first try seeing if it responds to commands, or thoughts."

She wills it to point! In the direction of the cave!

Nope. It does not move.

"Point me?"

Nope.

"… Point in the direction of the cave? Lead us to the cave?"

First one does nothing, second... makes the crystal warmer.

And does it do anything now if she waves it around?

Sorta! It seems... direction-y. As if it had a direction. Without... pointing... in that direction. It just has a direction.

"… Apparently it is that way?" She points.

"Lead the way, dearie."

She does! She makes sure to have her stake at the ready and puts the shiny thing into her pocket (keeping hold of it for now).

Dark tunnels. Darker tunnels. Even darker tunnels.

Eva really hopes they don't get too dark before the cave.
