"… Why would they try destroying the world, are they suicidal, why can't they just go kill themselves without taking the world with them." Pause. "Not that you necessarily know, but ugh."

"They frequently do this while having the means to leave the world," she explains.

"Right. Okay, so they just want to destroy the – mortal world or whatever."

"Or at least make it as horrible as certain other hell dimensions, yes."

"Wonderful. And we might have to deal with one of these apocalypse cults, presence indicated by the ominous lack of vampires."

"Part and parcel of being a Slayer."

"W-well, where would we find an apocalypse cult?"

"I doubt they're calling for helpers on street corners. – I really hope they aren't doing that, it'd practically be confirmation I'm on a TV show."

"Would that we were," Norma sighs. "We should probably continue patrolling, anyway."

"Should I check inside the club? I can probably get in and out without being dragged into anything, tell them I'm looking for someone."

"We should probably roam the town, perhaps visit the cemetery again and do a more thorough search." Pause. "You. You should do that. Vampires are less likely to attack groups."

"So I should do it alone to try baiting them?"

"Possibly with one lookout."

"I could do it!"

"Or perhaps the person whose job title is 'watcher' could."

"—or that, yes."
