"When you do it while regularly using the Force, the risks are less 'a judge has a conflict of interest' and more 'one of your classmates goes insane and starts murdering children.'" 

"That seems a bit dangerous a trait to have in the guardians of the Republic."

"You aren't wrong — it's one of the reasons we start training young, and the rules are probably a lot stricter than they need to be, as an organization the Jedi aren't fond of risk and there's a good reason for that." 

"And the ones that go evil start kidnapping random terraformers and trying to get them to have sex with Jedi?"

"I do not pretend to understand Asha's boss, I just know he keeps making me job offers and there are only so many reasons to put you in clothes like that." 

"Normally, they do it because they like seeing you in the outfit, but of course a man wouldn't be so forward."

"...I think that's more true on Hapes than it is anywhere else, but Asha claims he tried to veto the outfits because he thinks they're tacky so I still doubt that's why." 

"He's very pretty and a good kidnapper. If he were Hapan and noble I'd offer to marry him."

"...is 'good kidnapper' a trait most people look for in a husband or is this just you?" 

"If he gets you a space heater when he has you in his power, probably he will be kind in general."

Elvee is EXTREMELY WORRIED.

Are they going to try to escape at some point or are they just going to talk about atmospheric chemistry. 

(Not that he objects. Dejah Thoris is very pretty and he's glad she wants to marry him even though he is monogamous with Ayar.) 

Marlo is aware that the script for this interaction was written before he ever got the assignment; he's aware that if Asha wanted him dead he'd be dead; he is also aware that he empirically cannot beat Asha in a fight, and that he doesn't have his lightsaber. He's going to continue talking about atmospheric chemistry. 

In the morning Marlo is taken from his cell into a meeting room. 

"Hello!"

"Good morning." 

"Any complaints? Food all right? Company pleasant? Any messages you want me to pass along?"

"Everything is fine. I don't have any messages that I would want to pass through you."
