"Kinda sounds like a her problem."

"LIttle bit, but if we can find anything we're gonna do it."

"All right, well, it's your town. Anything look promising yet?"

"Well, assembling the seal seems like it'll return her to mummy status, so there's always that option. We were going to see if she can get life force off animals."

"I can run out to the pet store in the morning."

"It'd also be good to know if she can use vampires but Bureau says none of them wanna die right this minute, so no good test there."

I'd be very surprised if she could drain the life force of another undead being. Since they're, uh, dead.

Point taken but I still wanna check if we get the opportunity.

I appreciate your commitment to experimentation.

"All right. Anything else we need to wrap up tonight? Seems like Angel could use some time to sleep off the, uh, gunshot wounds."

"Sleep sounds nice."

"Please don't invite anyone into my house, and don't leave if it's on fire, the two basement floors should be very hard to burn and a fire is likely to be an attempt to draw us out. You can have anything in the fridge. The fountains are holy water but the swimming pool is not."

"Welcome to Sunnydale."

"Glad to be here."

Karen scoops Wishbone up and heads out to Alex's car.

Faith seems.......

It'll be good to have another slayer.

Yeah. You two can look out for each other.

Yeah.

- so vampires can just be given their human spirits back? This seems like important information.

If that's actually what happened, yeah. Could really change things.

Yeah. I guess we don't know for sure. Is there a way to check?

I think ensouledness - enspiritedness - is possible to detect but I don't know how offhand. Osanwë still doesn't work on him.

Ah.

- I'm not trying to be annoying, with the insistent terminology, it just, like, it gets confusing when people call everything from Emmy to Lurconis a demon, or - stuff like that.

You have no idea how hard you'd have to work to be one of the pickier-about-language people I know.

OK.

- um, the way I'm using it is, like, in Catholic theology - or, in Catholic theology as written in English, anyway - in the stuff I've read, anyway - your soul is all of your you parts, your body and your spirit both. For humans, I dunno how it is for Quendi. Uh, but I think what happens to vampires is that they lose their spirits, because, you know, that's what happens when you die, but their bodies are still here, and their bodies get possessed by demons. But your body's a part of you too, so vampires still have part of the human they were when their soul was all together. And if Angel got - moral reasoning, or his conscience, or whatever back, then I guess probably his spirit and his body are back together again, and he's just - also still a vampire for some reason.

- that probably doesn't all matter. Anyway, whatever it is Angel has, if he has it - we should see about getting it back for the other vampires. I think. I guess there are ways that it could be a bad idea, like if a lot of the spirits are in heaven right now, but - we should find out more about it.

Yeah, seems - good to look into. We can ask Angel if he was - anywhere - before he was back.

Quendi shape our bodies out of our spirits. I don't know what the difference is, don't really know if there is one, but that's the way we always think of it. We can change our bodies around if they don't come out right, too.

Huh.

- do Quendi turn into vampires ever?
