Moving. Yet again. Because this ducking stupid—
No. Get yourself under control. You know what happened that time—
Okay. New school. Mmhm. It's alright.
He arrives at the school...
"It's... a matter of control, really. I can be subtle—most predators have to be able to be that, in nature, so a magical human-predator hybrid should, as well—and the senses are much enhanced in wolf form, which helps."
"Huh. So you could probably sneak up on me and...we should focus on the other thing."
"Right. So should I get sneakier clothes or regular ones?" He looks down at himself. "Or just stay in my underwear?"
Stiles is a model of self-control.
"Nah, just wear whatever. Let's go investigate."
"Underwear is whatever," he says, but starts putting his clothes back on. "Should I stop teasing you like this?"
"No, keep it up, just stop when we get to the sneaking portion of the evening."
When Stiles and Ade are dressed, they can head out.
Well if Stiles says so then he'll just pull the boy close for a very short makeout session.
Then they can head out.
There is not currently a werewolf in there, but there was recently, on a scale of hours.
There's also a dead body buried in front of the house. The smell is hard to miss.
"There's a dead body buried there," he says, pointing. "And no one there, but someone was there a few hours ago."
"Derek did mention his family home got burned down by the Argents. The body... well I'm not sure, but... Derek mentioned a Laura, and said his sister passed on, and also there was a girl who was murdered in these woods..."
"No, I think I get that one. Alright. Should we just come back another day? I don't know what Derek usually gets up to."
"There were two halves of the body. One out in the woods. This must be the other half."
"Cops think badly-handled chainsaw or something, Derek says he thinks hunters. I don't think I can tell the difference between werewolf teeth and messy cutting weapons."
"I'm... not sure I could smell the werewolf on the body and if Derek was the one to bury the body that might not mean anything anyway."
"Okay. We can take a look at what the cops have and ask Derek what he thinks. Plus you could...smell the grave for anything besides werewolf? I don't know what kind of detail you guys can pick up."
