"No, it's okay," she says quickly, surreptitiously hitting the Y button. "Um." She is blushing so hard she is concerned her face might overheat like a faulty engine. "Is it really? I wasn't sure—I haven't really done this sort of thing much before—"

The girl aborts her evasive maneuver and lowers her arms. "It really was! I mean, I haven't, um, looked at the actual pictures you took, of course, but—" She glances at the camera and then at Amaryllis again and takes a calming breath. "I can imagine what—that was such—um. Sorry. Uh. I'm Daisy." She extends a hand to shake then stops and lowers it because that will clearly ruin Amaryllis's beautiful pose—well, it's kinda already not what it was, now that she was noticed, but still, she doesn't want to make it worse.

...she smiles shyly and un-poses to tentatively shake Daisy's hand. "I'm... Amaryllis." Might as well use it. "...do you want to see the pictures?"

Handshake! An actual form of human interaction that she cannot fail at! She is happy with this.

"Amaryllis, like the flower? That's a pretty name! And, uh, um, yeah, I don't want to impose, but, if you're okay with that?"

"Sure!" Maybe there will be more compliments. She's getting ahead of herself.

She retrieves her phone from its perch and scrolls through what she's done so far. "I keep having trouble getting this one to come out right," she confesses, as she swipes through shot after shot in which the edge of her skirt hangs in a wavy line that doesn't quite echo the ripples in the water behind her.

"—oh! The, you're trying to get it to, to make it look like the water? Sort of? Oh I love that! What don't you like about it? And did you take these by yourself?"

"Yeah," she gestures at the spot where she'd had her phone propped up to take the pictures, "I didn't have anyone to help, so... and yes, it's supposed to look like the water, but it keeps not lining up quite right, because I can't see it until I go look at the pictures I just took and then try again. I want it to be, sort of..." she makes a wavy gesture with her fingers over the latest shot, "and instead it's," she traces the line of her skirt in the actual picture, which in her opinion is angled wrong relative to the water.

"I could help?" she says, in a slightly lower voice tone as if she's offering something extremely forbidden and secret. "A-as in, maybe take the pictures for you?"

"Oh!"

Well now she is blushing EVEN MORE.

"Um."

That sounds... terrifying but also fantastic?? Help.

...magic sex video game, you had better not let this turn into the thing that always happens when Amaryllis makes a friend. "Sure," she says, with determined courage. "That sounds like—that sounds like a great idea. Sure. Yes." Why can't she shut up.

Daisy beams widely, like her dearest and wildest dream has come true.

She is not a person who hides her emotions at all well, Daisy isn't.

"Okay! I can do that!"

Tiny tentative smile.

"Hmm, maybe with an actual human being holding the camera I can try some more angles and that would help... maybe try standing there?" She points out a location, tucks her phone into her purse on its perch, and goes back to her posing. "Oh and, um, you probably caught this already but I'm trying to keep my face out of the pictures. Um. So I can post them on the internet without spontaneously combusting." Relatedly, her face is threatening to have an engine meltdown again.

Daisy nods seriously and even if she's blushing a bit too she will be a Professional^tm about this and treat this as a perfectly fine and understandable customer requirement and part of the artistic process. She does as instructed.

Amaryllis is a rank amateur at everything to do with this, but she is pretty good at putting her body where she wants it and at picturing herself in her visual imagination; with Daisy's help, she soon has a shot that does the skirt water thing properly. She blushes profusely as she provides contact information so Daisy can send it to her.

"You look gorgeous," Daisy breathes—then freezes and starts stammering, "I-I-I mean, the, the picture looks gorgeous, it's, very, um," and she's blushing just as much as Amaryllis herself. "Artistic," is what she finishes with, lamely.

Bonus Objective #4: Get a compliment from a stranger in public. Completed! You will receive your rewards upon quest completion.

"Gosh. Um. Thank you." So much blushing. "Um, do you want to do another one? I was thinking—"

She has a vision involving her standing on tiptoe in bare feet on a rock in the middle of the water feature. It is probably not an intended way to interact with this park, but then, neither is taking racy pictures here in the first place. And with Daisy's help she thinks she can make it work.

Daisy will take the offered save and help with more pictures! They don't need to speak about how hot she finds Amaryllis. It is irrelevant to anything.

She ends up taking several more pictures past the amount technically required by the quest, because Daisy is very good and she doesn't want to stop doing this.

But, eventually, the sun sinks far enough in the sky that the light starts to change, and while this results in many more opportunities for pretty pictures, it also results in Amaryllis realizing she never got around to eating lunch.

"Um," she says. "I should probably go... eat... food... which I have not done in a while. It was really nice meeting you, you've been a huge help! Do you want to, um," blush blush blush, "maybe do this again sometime?" Blush blush blush. "Perhaps even at my house, with snacks?"

"—oh! Um. Yes, yes, I'd, um. Love that. If you want."

She changes into more comfortable clothes, uploads all the best shots she took with Daisy, puts her phone on to charge because it has had a day, starts making spaghetti, and says with mild trepidation, "Um, show me all the notifications you hid while I was out?"

"I still don't know what that bonus objective is!" she complains, but then she sighs and—right, she left her phone charging in the other room—sets the oven timer to alert her around when she should check the pot on the stove for incipient boiling, then goes to sit down at her computer and scroll through comments to find some that she might like to reply to. Maybe there will be enough of them about her artistry that she won't have to think about the ones that are about her body.
