She'd be surprised if the plant monsters were able to get through the shell of magma she has surrounding Naruto's chamber.

She contributes her efforts to subdue the great monster, spreading shadowflame and inciting the earth against it.

It gets an attack through, not aimed at them but a great black of absolute black arcing over the horizon - 

The telepathy network they'd been using to coordinate cuts off.

Probably the command center. That's unfortunate.

It impacts their fighting significantly, but -

'This is Yamanaka Ino. I think I can maintain a new network on my own, but I'm a single soft target. Mind dropping me in a hole like Naruto's?' whispers into Ellisaria's mind.

'Where are you?'

She indicates on a mental map. She's away from the main fighting, but with a vantage point so she can survey it.

Ellisaria circles around and approaches the position by foot, to be less obvious.

Ino comes down to meet her, swiftly, and they aren't accosted.

Then she constructs another tunnel to a saferoom.

And once Ino's deposited and safely ensconced, she gets the telepathy network back up.

Hopefully that helps.

It does, and they're able to push back on the offensive -

The ten tails gets off another ball, which arcs for the main army, and there's the start of a warning over the telepathy network -

And then there's a flash of yellow light, and the black ball detonates harmlessly well over the ocean.

There's a man, behind the masked man, yellow hair and a face a lot like Naruto's and a white cloak -

The masked man chokes, turns - and there's a knife in his back. He and the newcomer start fighting.

' - Incoming Edo Tensei Hokage, they're on our side,' Ino finishes, voice a bit weak.

More undead. Wonderful. Perhaps Kabuto experienced the same change of heart as Madara, or perhaps Sasuke's research team made a breakthrough. Well timed, either way.

Two more appear in a much more subdued flash. Madara groans when he sees them, and one of them, a tall man with brown skin and long hair - his face familiar as the first one on Konoha's monument - grins and waves at the man. "Glad to be on your side again, Madara!" he shouts. "Tobira has a plan!"

There's an unshared exchange over the telepathy network, as the last undead Hokage arrives, and then the four men fan out around the ten tails, summoning massive gates to fall on its limbs. The First appears to be able to control massive amounts of wood, besides, summoning constructs capable of adding to the strength of the gates and providing some element of protection to the retreating forces (this is a fight of giants, and the call's gone out for everyone not at an elite level to join the evacuation).

Ellisaria stays back and circles the edge, waiting for the boy to be done with his meditation.

Their enemy's doing his best not to give them that time. He summons his own black spheres - which seem capable of doing permanent damage to the Edo Tensei - and slowly starts inching towards turning the tide.

Ino pings Ellisaria - 'So, one of our jounin, Kakashi, figured out that the masked man goes to another dimension when he's phasing, which Kakashi can also access because sharingan bullshit, and Kakashi thinks he's vulnerable in that dimension, and wants to check if you'd be willing to be dropped in that world. You have the greatest chance of dealing massive damage when the masked man phases in. If not, we'll drop one of the Uchiha over.'

'Is he capable of bringing me back?'

'Yes. He'll stay back from the fight so his life isn't risked, too. We'll avoid stranding you.'

'Very well, then.'

'Thanks. It'll be easier on him if you're smaller, he's pulling back to this location - ' And she sends the coordinates.

She flies to the designated location, and shifts form.

And without much preamble, she's dropped over.

The world's dark, the 'ground' consisting of floating cubes of something distinctly not earth.

And there's flickers of a human, darting in and out of the dimension.

She waits a moment to map the area he's flickering around, then brings both hands together and begins channeling a cone of shadowflame across it.

That results in a very angry yell, and him apparently fully manifesting in the world - he's not exactly ignoring the shadowflame, but he is rapidly regenerating, and he sends a massive rush of wood at her, some of it arcing to try and block the flame around him.

She covers herself in a cloak of fire and blinks away from the wood to appear on another cube nearby, tossing a hail of fireballs.
