Travel by Bifrost is supposed to be highly reliable.
Loki, inveterate faller, falls off it anyway.
"Not meaningfully financially constrained, but thanks anyway."
"So you won't give a sample?"
"Okay. Thank you for coming."
"Thank you for having me."
Satiria leads her back to the waiting room.
Loki goes home.
She will show up to the hospital, she will work on the games, and she most certainly will give healing Lucian a try.
She can meet them at the palace or they can come to her place, whichever's easiest.
She'll come to them.
Kyoya thanks her and sends a more exact location.
Kyoya is multi-tasking, talking to someone on the phone and busily tapping away at his computer.
He flashes her a warm smile when she arrives, but doesn't look away from his work for more than a second.
Lucian is lying on his back in the grass.
He hops to his feet when Loki arrives and gives a slight bow.
"You're Loki? Thanks for coming."
"That's me, good to meet you."
"I'm Lucian, though, uh, Kyoya probably told you my name."
He speaks softly.
"He did, yes, and said you'd like to try my healing spell."
"I would please."
So she holds out her hand. "It's touch range."
He reaches out and touches her fingers.
"- well, I've done it, I don't know if you'd have noticed any effect right away."
"It didn't work, but thank you for trying," he says seriously.
"Before you go, I don't know if this is intrusive, but there's a powerful magic on you that I don't think is yours. I wanted to make sure you knew about it."
"What do you mean?"
