The main body of the ring is made of two layers of smooth, unfaceted gemstone, the inner layer black and the outer layer clear. In between the two is a circle of silver stems with leaves and thorns and tiny red crystal rosebuds poking up into the clear layer at regular intervals. The centerpiece is a fully-bloomed red crystal rose that protrudes through the clear layer and out of the otherwise uninterrupted surface of the ring.
The gem part--everything but the silver--is lonsdaleite. Hardest gemstone known to demon. I put a lot of thought into it.
