"More or less. Though I wasn't quite as tall."

"I'm not used to many people being taller than me. It is more attractive than I'd expected."

He laughs.

"But how come you became a dragon, then?"

"I'm actually pretty sure I was the first one. I don't know why. Nobody explained it to me at the time. I just... got sick and died and woke up fifty years later in the middle of the woods, big and scaly." He shrugs. "Apparently that's how it works for all of us, no matter what we turn into."

"But you definitely remembered being human before, and your previous life and all that? Huh."

Snuggle snuggle oh she's stopped playing with herself she should do that.

"Yeah."

He snuggles her and pets her hair.

"And from this you are telling me that there's something about personality that determines what you turn into?"

"Sure seems like it. Dragons are all one way, unicorns all another, and so on."

"So what's the dragon thing? Being very independent or something else?"

"Independent, proud, dangerous." He kisses her forehead.

"Do you attack villages and hoard their gold?"

He giggles. "No! There's some dragons who do that sort of thing, but I've never seen the point. If I want gold I can make it."

"Maybe they just thought it would be a nice aesthetic? It sure is narratively compelling."

"I admit I haven't asked."

"Maybe another one will kidnap me and I'll be able to ask them."

"Nope, I'm keeping you," he says, wrapping his arms around her.

She giggles. "What, forever? What if I had friends and family who would miss me?"

"Where are you getting the idea that I care about that sort of thing?"

She pouts. "Wouldn't you want to make me happy? I'll smile for you if you do."

He snorts. "I've never made anyone happy in my life, why start now?"

"Because it's great. I could show you."

"What's so great about it?"

"Mm, it's hard to explain." She looks him in the eyes. "Did you like it when I enjoyed myself while you were hurting me? Did you like to see me wet and make me come?"

"Sure I did," he says with a half-smile, ruffling her hair and not bothering to meet her eyes.
