"Not likely in one step. Bones and blood are natural extensions, given their reliance on humans for food. Hair might also be doable."

"Hair would be easier to make."

"Hair can be our goal, then. If we prioritize their dietary requirements, we'll have to focus less on their hunger. Either one leaves us with the problem that they regularly murder people, so they'll need their new situation explained."

"I can do explanations."

"I'm sure I can help."

"Pascale should probably handle the diplomacy."

"We have our work cut out for us with the magic, anyway."

"Right. Collecting books and making people crave hair, got it."

"Alan, do you mind if we use your office for this? I prefer to do my planning inside."

"Of course. Pascale, when would you want to meet these wendigos?"

"Sooner is better. Tomorrow."

"Alright. I'll take you to them tomorrow. Scott, I assume you'll be joining us?"

Pascale glances at him.

"Will you need help? In case they attack?"

"Probably wouldn't hurt."

"I can pick Dr. Deaton up and then we'll stop by Ellayania's domain."

"No objections from me. I think I'll focus on the rituals right now. You and Lydia should probably get some rest, it's getting late."

"Lydia would like to learn more about magic."

"If you want to learn to use it, you might not have any luck. Supernaturals can't, and you seem to confuse our usual categories."

"It'd be worth trying, at least."

"I can teach her. You two focus on the wendigos."

She tales Lydia aside.

The other two focus on the wendigo ritual.

Scott elects to go home-

Nope, looks like he's talking to the tree.

Ah? What is he saying?

Apparently, he's telling it that he has to leave and is now consoling it.

She can't actually tell what the tree is communicating to him.
