Codfish: I give a speech to my Republican Assembly denouncing the Evil of Slavery and warning that Pirates will attack the Merchant Fleets of any country that refuses to Abolish it. Later, a band of Andorani Pirates pillages assorted Merchant Fleets of the countries I mentioned. ‘Calamity, I did not foresee this’ 

Arcanatri: The Merchant Fleet of Nexland has been attacked by Pirates. With my Spells is the Criminal conjured. Prepare to face the Justice of Nexland!

Codfish: I protest your Justice. I have heard that you use spells of Enchantment to force the Innocent and Guilty alike to confess.

Arcanarti: Due to these complaints I no longer use enchantments of Suspected Criminals.

Codfish: Praise Iomedae! You now decide matters of Justice with a Fair Trial?

Arcanatri: Yes! Behold my technique to ensure the Fairness. I use my Spell of Enchantment on the Magistrate, so that my whims do not control the verdict.

Codfish: I am confused how the word not ended up in that sentence. 

Arcanatri: You are Confused and also on Trial. Do you confess to Incitement of Piracy?

Codfish: I am a Paladin of Holy Iomedae and so my Honesty forces me to confess. I think it is Good for pirates to end the Evil of Slavery, but expected it to take longer and not attack Innocent Sailors.

Arcanatri: An Anarchic ruler would offer Pardon for doing Good even when against Law. However I am a Lawful ruler and therefore can only do so with Confusing Debate and Tricky Interpretations of Law.

Codfish: Very well. My argument is that when I called for Andorani Pirates to attack Merchant Fleets, the Andorani Pirates were not in the room. Perhaps I intended to speak to Different Pirates? Does that work?

Arcanatri: No, make it more confusing.

Codfish: I cannot do this alone for I am a Paladin unused to Lies and Tricks. Permit me a more experienced Advocate.
