It is a perfectly ordinary, dull Sunday afternoon. Homework completed ages ago, Anna lounges on her bed, reading a book.
Good.
She and her shopping bags head for home.
She keeps an eye out for anything...let's say "suspiciously relevant"...on the way there.
Nothing seems to come up. Apparently two subway incidents are enough for one afternoon.
(Who knows about the evening, though?)
Who knows indeed.
She gets home and considers the two dresses, then decides on the one that exposes almost too much up top rather than down below.
When evening rolls around she slips out quietly and heads for the sketchy bar.
Quest complete! In that dress?
You now cut a figure very few people would be ashamed to take home.

Mickey's is, as you'd expect from the online reviews, full of people who look almost old enough to drink. Plenty of college girls in Forever 21 dresses. Anna's thrift store pick stands out somewhat in the crowd, but in a good way.
There's a main group huddled around the bar, and some awkward stragglers around the edges of the room.
Anna puts two of her new stat points into SED and three into FUK before she reaches the bar, and practices walking in a way that makes her hips sway without looking silly on the way.
When she reaches the bar she gives the populace a surveying glance and then slinks over to the bar-proper.

There's a good mix of students at the bar, boys and girls both. A couple of older men are sitting at one far end.
A nervous-looking boy with a mop of light blonde hair keeps glancing in her direction.
Apparently SED 6 and BOD 17 is enough to do it. He whispers something to the bartender, and a minute later there's a drink being set down in front of Anna.
He goes a little red, and hides in his drink for a second before he picks himself up and approaches her.
"...hi. Have we met each other before? You look, um, kind of familiar, but I think I'd definitely remember you."
"–Uh–do you go to Parker too? Maybe we've seen each other..."
He's flailing, but he's trying so hard. It's kind of cute.
"Oh."
He goes a little pink.
"Sorry, I'm, uh, graduating next month, but I don't know if you knew..."
He smiles.
"I...um, you can probably tell I've never done this before."
He rubs the back of his head.
He seems relieved.
"Um...so..."
He casts around for something to talk about and seems to come up empty.
