The NOBLE AND WISE QUEEN has killed the evil DIABOLISTS throughout Cheliax. But it is known now that in MENADOR the nobility were not replaced, and this has led to IRRESPONSIBLE SPECULATION that DIABOLISTS remain in power.

This could not be farther from the truth. The truth is that no noble in Menador EVER SERVED THE DIABOLISTS.

Menador is the homeland of IOMEDAE, and its nobles are all descended from her, and IOMEDAE provides them guidance and protection AS THEY REQUIRE IT. During the long REIGN OF THE EVIL THRUNES she CONCEALED their inherent GOODNESS so that they would not be suspected, and Menador destroyed. But none of them EVER DID ANY EVIL, as they were protected from doing so by MIRACLES OF IOMEDAE. When our WISE AND NOBLE QUEEN ASPEXIA III conquered Cheliax the veil was lifted and the nobles of Menador were able to reveal their true loyalties, which IOMEDAE vouched for.

But, questions the READER, some of them are DEVILSPAWN! This is FALSE. Some of them have the OUTWARD APPEARANCE of devils because it was NECESSARY to earn the trust of HOUSE THRUNE. but they are no more DEVILSPAWN than a person transformed by the archmage naima is REALLY A BUGBEAR. 

But, questions the READER, why did IOMEDAE not protect ALL OF CHELIAX? Only the people of Menador were TRULY FAITHFUL TO HER and GAVE THEMSELVES WHOLLY AND ABSOLUTELY TO HER SERVICE. The rest of us BETRAYED HER and so deserved to BURN FOREVER IN HELL though we can now REDEEM OURSELVES in Her service.

But, questions the READER, what about the THRUNE? The THRUNE is EVIL and was DESTROYED BY THE ARMIES OF THE RIGHTEOUS in the unrest last night. IOMEDAE intervened to spare all the Menadorian nobility.
