"Tell me she can at least call."

"She can call, this isn't a punishment despite that it may feel that way."

"Good night, Juliet."

Matt goes home.

Lexi takes Juliet to their rental.

"Are you hungry?"

"No. I just want to get out of these clothes."

"I have a suitcase of your things in the second bedroom. When was the last time you ate?"

"Ate last night. I'm going to have a shower. Point me."

"I'm going to make you pancakes and then we can watch a movie together. Distraction is key right now."

They leads her to the bathroom.

"You do that. Nothing like my dad's favorite meal to distract me from the fact that I let him die."

Lexi sighs. "I can make something else. Shout if you need me, okay?"

They hugs her.

Juliet is hugged and then she shuts the door and locks it.

She turns on the shower, goes towards the window and then listens.

Lexi stays outside the door for a moment, hesitates, but then heads back into the kitchen and starts on food.

And Juliet sneaks out the window.

....she has no idea where she should go. Going to Matt seems like the obvious option. But Lexi would find her immediately.

So she starts running in no particular direction. She still has several hours before the Halloween Party.

She catches a familiar scent.

...she quickly latches on and starts following it.

It leads to a house. She can recognize the scent now: Jackson.

Across the street, though, is another scent. Not as familiar, but she knows instantly: it's him.

Juliet stands outside Jackson's house and stares across the street.

She could turn around and go to Jackson and wait for the party and see Matt and figure out her life.

Or... she could go to him. Talk to him. Get him to turn himself in. Make him pay.

She goes and knocks on the Laheys door.

Mr. Lahey's son answers.

"Yeah, what is it?"

Inconvenient.

"I was going to ask you the same question, actually."

"What's this about?"

His father walks up behind him, placing a hand on his shoulder. He grips tightly.

"Hello. I have to apologize for my son."

"You don't seem to be very good at apologies. So you should probably skip it. Can I come in?"

"Are you selling something? I can save us both the time."

His son offers no response to what either of them are saying, and hugs the wall.
