Make Iomedae Pay Her Fair Share In Clerics!

Since time immemorial Gods have empowered clerics of the many people of the world peoples in exchange for worship and homage.  With Asmodeus righteously defeated, the people of Cheliax eagerly seek Righteous Gods to worship.  One has only to bear witness to the crowds flocking to temples consecrated anew to Iomedae and other Righteous Gods!

But where are their clerics?

Iomedae has scarcely provided enough clerics to keep Westcrown's cisterns filled, much less to provide water to the country side and outlying villages!  Does she not see the people eager to worship her?  Or perhaps she figures the Chelish people easily bought?  If only a few clerics gets her throngs flocking to fill her churches, why would she feel inclined to exert herself to empower more clerics?  Thus the solution is clear.  We must withhold our worship until she and other Gods select more clerics of the Chelish people!

Do you think this heresy?  This is only the assertion of the obligations owed to mortals by Gods in exchange for their worship!  If Iomedae fails in her obligations, we do not owe her our own!

If you must worship a God, consider the only righteous Gods to have selected clerics under Asmodeus, and who have increased their empowerments with his defeat! Erastil and PharasmaErastil has kept our fields rich even through unrighteous persecution by the Infernal Diabolists!  Pharasma has been faithful to those that sought out her chosen midwives amid the faeries and druid in the woods!  Pray not to Iomedae, who would take your worship without choosing clerics in return, but to the Mother of Souls who kept mothers alive and the Elk Father who kept your fields verdant!

He was looking for some inspiration in trying to come up with ideas for the committee tomorrow when he see the pamphlet.  Clearly disloyal and a bit heretical... maybe even blasphemous.  But it reminds him he needs to rig his proposed alternate form to the Chelish monarchy to provide lots of power to Iomedae's church in addition to the Queen... he can think of a trick or two to give her church that power.

It's not that he doesn't understand the sentiment, but—

He's not actually sure if a god's ability to act on the material plane tracks their number of worshippers, but if it does that seems like reason to urge people to worship Iomedae more, not less. The present veneration of her as Asmodeus by another name presumably does not count.
