Today, Beacon Hills High School prepares to welcome a new student! Several new students, in fact; a whole class of them. As summer gives way to fall, so too does freedom give way to restriction. Get in your seats, everyone.
Acceptable! She smiles at him and snuggles in close. This way she can protect him if they crash, but mostly because she wants Matt hugs.
"So. This is my first date. Obviously. Do you have any major wants or do-not-wants? Kinda wanna know what I'm in for."
She thinks about it. "Huh. I'd get to be a prince, a general and eventually King, though only in name..."
She looks up at him. "Okay, you can be Hamlet then. Does this please you, my prince?" She pauses. "You wouldn't really be my prince though..."
"Hm. No, I don't think so. Her fate is so tragic, torn between two worlds... and dying off-screen. Nope. You have so much more going for you. And you will never die." She nods, "I've decided."
"Life is infinitely stranger than anything which the mind of man could invent."
"I don't know about that. You're the most interesting thing I've met so far."
The pickup truck begins to slow; it looks like they're at the law office.
When no volunteers manifest themselves, he steps out of the truck.
"It is actually illegal to have two kids in my truck bed. Make it easier on me?"
She sighs dramatically. "Ruining our wholesome teenage delinquency."
She unwraps herself from Matt and gives him a kiss on the cheek.
"Try not to have too much fun without me."
And climbs out of the truck bed.
She takes it.
"Juliet Salvatore. Thank you for doing this, we're bad at planning things ahead of time."
She laughs and hops into the passenger seat.
"I've met Brian twice. I mean, it was friendly, but he's probably more Matts friend than mine."
