Kala is out wandering the gardens. She mostly doesn't know what to do with her mother's estate since her passing, but the various stewards and so on do, so she lets them get on with it and tries not to feel too useless.
The garden doesn't directly help with that, but it's still nice. She closes her eyes and bends her head to smell a flower with a particularly lovely fragrance.
Mmmm pretty warm cuddle dragon.
If they keep snuggling for long enough she might actually fall asleep on him, the adrenaline crash from getting kidnapped by a dragon is no small thing.
This is - good. He thinks. He's pretty sure it's good. Wait why is he crying.
Kala sleeps through the crying, still unconsciously snuggling closer. She shifts a little bit if any tears land on her but doesn't wake until several hours later.
"...Mn?"
He has stopped crying by then but still kind of looks like someone who has been crying recently.
After another little while she asks "So not that cuddling you isn't super awesome, but, uh, do you have a bathroom anywhere?"
He curls up on his comfy couch and wonders what the fuck has happened to his life.
She is back a few minutes later.
"I suppose I'm not surprised the bathrooms are as fancy as everything else."
