The following day there is: school!
Sadde and Willow are already there, sitting on a bench chatting.
"And you keep making those cute noises as well," he adds as they start walking back to Norma's place.
"It's not like I'm literally saying ugh, it's just– a noise of frustration? I mean, I sigh a lot too, it's not the only thing I do?"
"I know, but you make these faces while you do it, and you actually do it, it's like, I dunno, just adorable."
"Right." He continues to walk. "… You know, I'm not really sure what that suggests about me or why you decided to use that description, but– sure, okay."
He shrugs. "It's descriptive of your adorableness and grumpiness. You know when you see a cute small animal being grumpy and you want to squeeze it? That's more or less it, I want to squeeze you and kiss you."
"A cute small animal being squeezably grumpy and kissable," he says with a raised eyebrow. "Right."
"Nah," he says. "Sounds weird to call me a cute grumpy small animal but the kissability works okay."
So with Norma's permission and Willow's curious supervision (she decided she wouldn't learn everything there is in that very thick book so she asked Norma to borrow it) they dye Theo's hair! Well, a part of it.
