"Sure," he says, reopening the cut and offering it to her (yay).

Blood! Different symbol, she takes a step back, then asks, "Where?"

"On my body or where in the room? I don't know how big the blast is."

"Your body."

"Uh, depends on what kind of a blast it is. If it's just gonna give me a nasty bruise, um, arm– uh, might work, or if it's going to knock me over then presumably my chest if it won't break bones?"

"Nasty bruise, it probably won't knock you over."

"Yeah, um, I dunno – left arm probably?"

"Okay, whenever you're ready."

He nods. "Think I am."

So she blasts his arm. It's concentrated like a punch, and hurts about as much.

Ow. Well that's quite painful. "Okay, well, that definitely hurt so I didn't nullify it outright, woo."

He pulls up his sleeve. It does not appear to be bruised yet.

It was strong enough that it ought to be, pretty soon anyway.

… Pretty soon it starts to go somewhat yellowish? Theo also notes that it's a little painful.

"Yes, these things tend to be."

He rolls his eyes. "Yes, they do tend to be, and I was just confirming that this scenario does not seem to be different in that respect."

He giggles and kisses Theo's cheek.

"It doesn't seem to be getting more so, though," he says.

"Should I punch you to compare?"

Theo sighs and then looks at him. "Yeah, sure."

Punch! It is about as strong as the blast. A little bit less, maybe, and less concentrated.

"Ow," says Theo, smiling and-or gritting his teeth a bit. "That kinda hurt."

"You didn't complain about it last time," he says in a sweet tone laced with innuendo.

Theo laughs a bit.

Another kiss! "So, any differences?"
