Twin sister of Azure-and-Florentho, heiress of a wealthy noble house from the dead world. They were raised by their grandfather after their mother's death when they were 6.

Alizara is straight, a woman, and trans (known since early childhood). 5'5" with blonde hair and features that on earth would be parsed as approximately Korean.
Salanaya is a metang (settled at 10, evolved at 17), with the moves Rock Tomb, Psychic, Sunny Day, and Flash Cannon. Salanaya is genderless but prefers she/her pronouns.

She is brilliant with a near-perfect memory and skill with engineering and science, but is spoiled and lacks an appreciation for her many advantages. Her main goal is to invent FTL for the fleet. While friendly and generous, Alizara does not like social situations and would rather stay home and read to going anywhere. She is a bad cook, and while she has strong opinions on individual details for fashion requires Azure's help to make whole outfits that look nice. Her aesthetic preference is the classical princess look of frills and poofy skirts. She enjoys word puzzles.
