Milliways is a restaurant and bar at the end of the universe. Which universe? All universes.

Patrons of Milliways often find that they have a sizable amount of money to spend, here, because Milliways pulls from a time when they have sufficient funds to cover their costs.

This works for most patrons who have an option of saving or investing, though for some, it can pose an issue- for those patrons, Milliways offers a variety of forms of employment.

Restaurant- The restaurant area consists of tables, booths, stalls, floorspace, and more exotic ways people might choose to take their food. What it does not contain, is the social environment of a bar. The restaurant is formal and discourages mingling. Patrons are served by waitrats, bipedal talking rats who wear appropriate uniforms.

Bar- The bar is the more casual counterpart to the restaurant, which encourages mingling with strangers. The bar area is also functionally the lobby, into which doors to the establishment typically lead. The bar serves drinks, 'street food', and 'pub fare'. The bar does not serve filling foods, or nutritious foods; for that, one should go to the restaurant.

Lodging- There are rooms available for rent above the restaurant and bar area. Rooms use an incomprehensible numbering scheme such that their relative positions are meaningless, and time passes differently between them and all other parts of Milliways.

Infirmary- The infirmary always has the resources necessary to handle the needs of Milliways' patrons. Patrons can work in the infirmary.

Security- The security office always has the resources necessary to handle the needs of Milliways' patrons. Patrons can work as security.

Grounds- The grounds outside of Milliways experience mostly the weather typical of a temperate climate prone to rain, though it tends to be overall more pleasant than would exist in a real climate.

There is a lake, which contains a giant squid when the lake is unfrozen, and instead hosts a herd of reindeer when the lake is frozen.

There are slopes and hills for cavorting and rolling and, in snowy times, sledding and skiing.

There are caves and mountains in the distance.
