The only sane person aboard the Covenant. Linden has been a career sailor almost his entire life, starting as a cabin boy on the Red Hand, and serving as navigator on the Griffin in between. Now he's the navigator for the Covenant.

Like most skysailors, Linden is a hybrid of several species. His particular heritage means he ages at about 1/6 human rate, so he's in his early 200s but looks like a human in his late 30s.
