Sylvia Durant has faced many challenges in her life. Becoming a Knight bodyguard of a Prince's Court is not supposed to be the hardest of all of them - but Ophelia Vaudelle is no ordinary Prince, or so she's told, and given the *results,* she cannot help but believe it was worth the effort.

In addition to the blessings of endurance she has earned from the Path of Pins as a Woodsman of some skill, she has been blessed by her Prince with the power to conjure what she needs to defend what she holds dear, after a tragedy struck her home and she had not the ability to defend any but herself.
