A Knight-Errant, a Woodsman, and a Hearth, all at once, Diana Pallas has found the Path of Pins twice in her life - at first, when she was still a young woman, she took up the role of a Hearth, but even as the Rose Prince (Ophelia Vaudelle) worked her magic and her Magic to help her spread her fire beyond the boundaries imposed by her sorry mortal limitations, she felt too weak to matter, when the fire of the hearth she bore needed more active protection than she could muster alone.

It is this that drove her to seek the path of the Woodsman, to exalt her flesh as much as her spirit - and while a part of her can still be found, riding circuits through her home village, much more of her has left and sha'n't look back.
