Some misc. notes on this setting...

One of the underplayed aspect in MGE canon (although fanfic often explores it), there is a massive demographic crisis hitting the monsters, all offspring of monster girls and human men are female (save for, in my reification, very magically tricky and costly workarounds). Canon just treats this is an an excuse why they want men so badly, but in my reification its a serious cultural issue. With a millennia of expansion by the monsters into human territories means this is the generation that has finally crossed the crisis threshold, even if they ignore all need for pretext for starting a conquest and conquer even (formerly) cooperative human polities, they won't get ahold of enough man for all the monster girls coming of age this generation.

Another underexplored tension... the monsters are extremely horny brained... well also being very heteronormative in practice (fanfic hasn't actually explored this nearly as much as it could have and of course canon totally ignores the implications). In my reification, they will go with lesbian relationships to satisfy their horniness, but their culture doesn't properly recognize such relationships as legitimate or adult. There are a few expensive, uncommonly used solutions for producing children in f/f relationships and f/f relationships are technically magical energy positive, but cultural biases have made these things unexplored, even as monster girl culture and technology have flourished in other directions.

Also, basically removing the loli stuff that was in MGE canon.
