Description | The mourners sacrifice parts of themselves to the martyrs to honor the sacrifice they made for them. They wear special clothing to symbolize their grief for the dead. Each martyr grants power to their mourners. The portfolio of each martyr expands to fill the available space; there were none until there were two. Now, with four, each one covers a different area. The Heir- Trained to lead but also to think. Waging wars and collecting taxes. Slaying dragons. Hidden blades under fine cloaks. The Rogue- Speed, hunting, insolence, pride. Receiving instruction. Fame, adventure, honor, and death. Legends and myth. The Bard- Music, intellectual pursuits, charity, freedom, wantonness, immodesty, unexpected riches, poetry, charisma The Seer- Isolation, countryside, nature, independence, painting, learning, study, ingenuity, liberal arts First came the Heir. Their ambition took them to the top, and their subjects never forgot them. Second came the Rogue. Their adventure across the kingdom earned them many grateful admirers. Third came the Bard. Their songs and stories gave voice to the voiceless, and turned the social order on its head. Fourth came the Seer. Their work brought knowledge to the people. |
