She shifts her stance, waits for Sora's signal to begin, and then presses her attack rapid-fire, barely giving Sayuri time to blink let alone retaliate. She's not perfect, she leaves openings and misses and sometimes moves faster than her reaction time, but she's good.

Sayuri herself dances in and out of sight in flashes, but can't quiet keep up with how fast Rian moves. Her main move seems to be replacing herself with something far away and flashing back in, attacking, and trying to avoid any sort of retaliation. She hasn't quite got it perfected, but she's well on her way.

Rian's instincts and reflexes are keen, but Sayuri does manage to score a few hits.

"I've got a lot of work to do, we both do! I can't wait to start learning."

She bows to Rian to signal the end of the spar.

Bow! "You're really good though, and yeah! Some proper instruction will be nice."

Sora points out a few ways that they both lost points.

"Sayuri, you need to practice your hand seals. The faster they are, the faster you'll be able to use the replacement jutsu and avoid getting hit."

"And I need to work on my unaided reaction time. And on leaving openings, but - I think I'm getting a feel for it, now that I've got some proper partners."

Sora smiles and looks at the time, it's getting late.

"Think we have enough time for the next spar, or should we call it a night and go rest?"

"Hm. I think we can probably get an abbreviated spar out of the way? It'd be good to get a sense of how we mesh."

"I'm not tired. Let's do it!"

"Okay, it is a good idea. Let's try not overexert ourselves."

She steps onto the grass with them and bows.

Bow, countdown, and begin.

Against two opponents, Rian steps up her game, but doesn't activate her sharingan, and isn't quite fast enough to block two people at once.

Sayuri keeps out of the way until Rian gets the upper hand on Sora, then flashes in and attacks her from behind.

That works, scoring a hit, though Rian's able to retaliate - leaving her open to Sora.

Which Sora takes full advantage of, having been waiting for this.

And Rian rather neatly loses!

She concedes, and says, "Good fight. I'm not nearly as good at keeping track of two opponents, but you guys work well together."

"I watched you both pretty closely at the academy. Makes it easier to predict your actions."

"You're really smart, I remember things from spars but not enough to analyze all that."

Sora blushes a bit and hides her face behind her hair.

"I write most of it down later, so I can remember."

"Still smart."

Sora shrugs and continues to blush.

"We should head home, get enough sleep for tomorrow."

"Sounds good to me."

"Should we meet at the training ground?"

"Tomorrow? That works."

Sora gathers her things.

"We'll do great. Just need to get enough sleep. If we can sleep."
