"The Uchiha summons don't, I don't think. Maybe that's just the major summons? Like the toads. We can ask sensei, though."

"I feel like we need to write a list of all the things we want to ask her."

"Probably wouldn't hurt!"

"Well if we want all of our questions answered, we better start preparing for tomorrow."

"I'll go get my pack!" And she runs off back into the house.

"Good point. All my stuff's still back at the compound, though."

"Do you know what you have? Coz we could just write down a list and then just check things off that we think we should take."

"Yeah, I have everything memorized." Her usual sword, a large number of kunai and shuriken, a few fuuma shuriken, more swords and knives, smoke bombs and flash-bangs, a war fan (...that she unfortunately doesn't know how to use), a naginata, a kusarigama, bows and arrows, senbon, a flute and some bells for genjutsu... She'll probably just stick to the sword, shuriken, and kunai for weapons, she's best with them.

Sora has... a lot less. She does have a fair few shuriken and kunai, one set of flash bangs and smoke bombs. A dozen senbon, and a small dose paralytic to go with them.

Then she has several blank parchment for seals, some ink and two pens.

She unseals everything and lays them out on a bare table. And stands awkwardly in front of them, trying not to make eye contact with anyone.

"I should probably invest in some poisons, and learn how to use them properly..." Rian comments, looking over Sora's things. "This is a pretty good assortment. How do you use the storage scrolls? I know how to remove things from them, not so much how to add things."

Skye smiles a little and then pulls over some blank parchment, some ink and a pen.

"So. This is a simple seal." She quickly draws one out on the parchment. It's neat and clear. "This particular one will seal about three or four things of around twenty centimetres." If Rian is paying close attention, she might sense a tiny amount of chakra being applied as she draws it out.

"I'll be giving you a few of these for the test. Now all you really have to do is apply your chakra to the seal. But because this is a pretty simple one, you have to be careful not to overload it. That'll just burn it up. So applying the near minimum amount of chakra would be best."

She reaches over and grabs one of her kunai, places it on the parchment over the seal and pushes it over to her.

"You can smear a little bit of your own blood over it to make it easier, but it's probably better for you to learn without it first."

Rian tries pushing her chakra into the seal to seal the kunai away, a little at a time. It takes her a few tries, but she gets it eventually.

"This is pretty complicated," she says.

"It took me ages to be able to not burn the whole parchment up. I kept on applying too much chakra. My controls gotten a lot better, but sometimes when I'm not paying a lot of attention it just go up in smoke."

"Yeah, I tend to go the opposite way with jutsu. You might like fire jutsu, it's really hard to overload those. You just get a bigger or hotter fireball."

"Sounds terrifying and also super fun!"

"You're really supposed to practice aiming out over water for a reason."

"Have you tried water walking while you do it?"

"Don't know how."

"I've tried it a couple of times. The theory seems pretty simple. Buuut in execution, not so much."

Sayuri comes back out of the house and dumps her pack on the table.

"Theory?"

"We were talking about water walking and how it's harder than it sounds... Maybe we can ask sensei for tips, though."

"I've never tried it! I'm pretty weak with jutsu, I've been more focusing on my stealth."

"Stealth is not my strong suit. But yeah, another thing to put on the list for sensei... its gonna be a long list."

"Yeah. And there's probably a lot of stuff we haven't even thought of. We're going to be busy learning everything!"

"Speaking of learning. Here's how you use these sealing scrolls, Sayuri."

She goes through it again, drawing out a new seal and explaining how to do it.
