"What were you and him even yelling about," Isama says, wringing her hair out into the sink.

"I would not die I can swim," says Ana.

"He's protective of not just his wife but all instances thereof and his culture of origin is more confrontational than ours," he says after a moment. "And I think his Rebecca would, like, try to smooth over actual spousal abuse so he got worried mine would too but Amenta's much nicer than Earth that way. Even good swimmers can die if they get a cramp they don't expect or hit a strong current," he tells Ana. 

"...why would he think there was spousal abuse to smooth over?"

"It's a lake," says Ana.

"Peka said something he misinterpreted. Lakes can have currents."

"Rivers have currents," says Ana.

"So he told your daughter you were the worst him? The heck?" says Isama.

"Yeah! He's five, I was definitely a bit of a twit at five and that's without the ability to skirt social consequences by winning duels."

"It's so weird that he can already have the same number of kids as you at five," Isama says.

Ana is trying to sneak to the door again.

"Ana this is ridiculous. Do I need to have my Elf prince self assign you guards."

"Will they let me swim."

"They will probably obey your every word. Are you going to be responsible with that."

"Yyyyyyes."

"Then you can have Niblet take you to shore." Maitimo can someone be found to babysit my daughter -

Ana tells her babysitters to let her swim.

Ana's babysitters watch her swim and are close by to rescue her if she gets tired.

Swim swim swim swim. "I want to meet the magic Papa."

Babysitters are happy to help her get to Way Island!

"The other magic Papa the telepathy one I already met that one."

Babysitters can ask for Prince Canafinwë but he might be busy. 

"Doing what?"

"Composing or singing or working or sleeping."

"Ooh singing."

"He's the most gifted singer in the world!"

"I want to listen."

Babysitters can take her to Prince Canafinwë! He sings sad songs.
