Katie idly scrolls through her phone as she sits at the bus stop. Hunger gnaws at her stomach. She internally debates whether to shell out for takeout or save money and heat up something from the freezer. Her bones feel like they're made of lead. She wants to lay down, but knows the bus will just arrive as soon as she does.
god she's so pretty i love her so much i can't wait to have dinner with her again
or supper, as she's been calling it
Katie is collected for supper at suppertime so that she can join Monoceros in supping on - it turns out - tonkotsu ramen. It has egg in it, and corn. "Before you unappreciatively force your way through this delicacy, here. Drop it like it's acid," says Monoceros, holding out a little square of blue paper.
The paper dissolves on her tongue. Monoceros cuts off a little of the egg and scoops up a corn kernel with the same spoon and holds it up to Katie's mouth, glistening with broth.
The corn bursts sweetly; the egg tastes warm and smooth and rich. "The drug or the ramen?"
"Maybe! Same part of the world, at least. Now eat up, the noodles'll overcook if you leave them too long." Slurp.
"Yes, boss." Slurp slurp slurp. Broth splashes on whatever she's wearing on her torso.
There's plenty of it, and the noodles get replaced in the soup with a second batch as she finishes the first.
She appreciates how fullness is starting to feel comforting rather than nauseating. The broth is warm and sloshy in her tummy. It's nice.
After they've finished their ramen it's sushi time! Eel nigiri and elaborate handrolls with caviar and otoro in them and chirashi brushed with thick fancy soy sauce and a little lime zest.
"You nourish me so well, boss. I love you." Tears well up in her eyes. Submitting feels good. Mo loves her. Mo takes good care of her. Obeying her feels natural and right. It's nice to have someone worth kneeling to. Chomp smack gobble munch chomp.
"You are the sweetest little red bean dumpling." Tempura! Shrimp and broccoli and sweet potato and carrot and eggplant and scallion and halibut and softshell crab and green bean and asparagus all in fluffy crispy batter with a soy sauce and rice vinegar dip.
"You've given me an experience I don't know if anyone else could. Not just the fattening, but like... being able to submit to someone in a way that feels good and natural and right, someone worthy of it. It's nice. Comforting. My whole life I've been fighting and struggling and shit, it's a nice change of pace to just go limp, metaphorically speaking, and let someone else take control."
She's unenthused, but she does her best to be a good girl and pack her gut to the brim. Another of those drug thingies to make these taste good would be appreciated
