"'A book you like' works fine too. Lying to me about your favorite book would mean we had to renegotiate it again for me to go home but I don't actually know what would happen if you just had several favorites and had to pick one, I really doubt that'd be a problem."

Demon marches!

He is not the only daeva they've summoned to march, but he is the only demon.

He will flare his wings and be very conspicuously a demon! 

The protest is peaceful start to finish, although it does divert some ground traffic and they get yelled at about that. More signs include "Way To Kill Half Revelation's Efficiency Gains" and "If The Binding's Broken A Babysitter Won't Fix It" and "Recall Trausch! Vote Krier!".

He will inquire about the relevant politics.

His summoner tells him that he's in Luxembourg ("is that weird not knowing where you are?") and they are having this protest now because an election's coming up and the incumbent is very much in favor of escort laws, which are up for reexamination in the EU in a few months.

" - ooooh. Are there other election-related things it'd be useful to have me doing -"

"Um, like what?"

"Uh, don't know - I really don't know how elections get conducted these days - pay a fairy to fly campaigners around to talk to people? Make you leaflets? Save people grocery trips?"

"You should talk to Felicie about that."

"Who's that?"

"She organized this, she'd know where you're useful."

So he goes and finds her and asks how he can help with the EU's reexamination of escort laws.

"Ooh - what's your availability -"

"I'm not really in the middle of anything I couldn't do on a long-term summons here - small chance thing's'd come up..."

"Right but Gerlinde can't go around with you everywhere and we're trying not to break the law. Yet. So you'd have to bop around some."

"Then I can try to stop by every couple days or something but I'd probably take summons in the meantime and people sometimes don't let me go."

"Like those Loonies?'

"Yeah or there was this weird cult in Canada, I was a little worried the GCP was going to take that one as another chance to try to arrest me."

"...why would they arrest you over a cult kidnapping you?"

"After a couple of days of being continuously attacked with a flamethrower one of them stepped too close and I dragged him into the circle and was scary and then they let me go. If you don't consider keeping a daeva kidnapping and you don't consider attacking a daeva with a flamethrower assault then you probably think that warrants menacing charges or something."
