His chin-ups cruelly interrupted, Hywel switches to star jumps.

He'll start to undress and climb onto his bed, then.

"Just how much do you exercise daily?" he wonders.

"However much I feel like!" Hywel says rhythmically. "- but, yes, probably I should be winding down."

He stops jumping and re-switches to something more resembling yoga.

"There was at least rugby, and swimming, and now this. I suppose there must be a reason you look like you do."

"Oh, it wasn't laps or anything, we were just splashing up and down the river."

"—river?"

"In the woods! There's a river. Good for lad activities."

"That sounds NSFW. I want to see this river, though."

"There's nothing sexual about skinny-dipping. Well, unless you're doing it right. I'll bring you along."

"Casual nonsexual nudity was still, last I heard, NSFW. And I wouldn't want to make," he cannot say the word "lads" with a straight face this time, "your friends uncomfortable and I think after earlier today we're going to need a few more normal interactions and some character and relationship development before that's achievable."

...god he sounds like such a tool. Too late, though, he's already incarnating this character.

"If you say so. Want me to hit the lights?"

"Yes, please." He's inevitably going to spend a while still browsing on his phone—he needs to set up his social media accounts, now that he thinks of it, nothing more suspicious than a transfer student without any—but that's still winding down in bed.

He can have an instagram, a twitter, a tumblr, and, if he wants one for some reason, a facebook! Tiktok isn't in evidence, but they have Vine. (Most of these services are slightly uncanny-valley from what he remembers - there's less front-page dripfeeding, mostly, but also, as he may find especially on tumblr, a lot less censorship. It looks like there was someTraveler whose best life involved somehow averting the enshittification of the Internet.)

Instagram is right out, having a new and empty one is even more sus than not having one, at his age. Twitter is more doable, as is Tumblr, and it's cute that Vine still exists.
