Wheeee!

Raafi watches the pair of them through binoculars, and eventually goes in and gets a jetpack of his own, but he's obviously not going to be keeping up with either of them any time soon.

Well, not everyone can be a natural prodigy. Ana will do some slow things with him, when he gets up in the air.

He's having a good time, anyway.

About an hour before dinnertime, the kobold gets Ana's attention and signs that she's going back to Tython for a little while.

Okay. Meet up for dinner later?

Yup, she'll be back here for it!

Is Satele back in her room?

She is.

Careful non-interruptive kobold snuggles.

Satele puts an arm around the kobold and hugs her.

The kobold grins and snuggles and waits for Satele to seem to be between things.

Shortly, this happens.

The kobold shifts her weight in an attention-getting sort of way.

"Yes?"

Grin, hug; serious. "I went to give Occlus another magic lesson today after lunch; they wanted to know where my kind of magic comes from. It's pretty obvious they're going to try to convince me to let them go to my world to get more of it."

"...I would advise you to be careful."

She nods. "I'm not going to bring anyone to my world that I don't trust to be very careful while they're there; even if we don't go anywhere near where I live it'd be very easy for someone to make things worse for kobolds in general by saying the wrong thing to the wrong person." On top of all the other reasons it's a bad idea. "I'm more wondering if this might be a good opening to talk to them about Raafi's magic."

"It may be. If she is attempting to convince you to take her to your world, she must at least appear to be receptive to your suggestions. And a new magic may serve to distract her."

Nod. "Is there anything I should know about what you've been talking with them about?"

"Nothing relevant to this topic, I think. "

"Okay." Hug.

"Oh - if I run out of things to do - I understand there are slaves, in this world? I can probably figure out how to find them and get them to someplace that can help them, if there's a place like that. Or I'm open to suggestions, if there's other projects that I could do quickly like that that'd help a lot of people."

"Slavery is illegal in the Republic, and there are organizations that exist to help runaways. I will see if any of them are capable of handling the volume," hug, "you are likely to create."

The kobold giggles at the hug. "Sounds good."

And then there were snuggles.

Such pleased snuggles.

Eventually, it's dinnertime. "I'm meeting Ana and Raafi at Milliways for dinner - maybe you'd like to come sometime?"

"Sometime, perhaps. But not tonight."

Nod. "Let me know, I don't usually have plans for mealtimes." Hug, disappear.

Ana and Raafi are probably still out flying, aren't they.
