I don't know if I'm worrying about Down To Earth more than I should be. I think it's the part of what she's planning I'm the most worried about though. I think the thing that worries me is that there aren't any real boundaries on what it can cause. It's all based on what's happening around her and how able she is to understand things without going through them. And also on how many other difficulties and limitations she's experiencing.

Yes, it's potentially a very impactful drawback. I think there's a kind of person it can be worthwhile for, though, and I think Sapphire seems like she might be that kind of person.

It really is made for her. And not just because she asked you for something like that specifically.

I think the other part of it is that it brings into focus the fact that she is going to be doing things that might be dangerous even if she doesn't take Down To Earth. And I know she has It Gets Better but I still worry about it. Especially since I won't be there with her.

You won't be there with her at first. Eternal Love means that in the long run, you'll be with her wherever she goes.

Tom smiles at the hearts and closes the notebook. Then he goes off to work on all the things he's been neglecting.

He's still there by the time Sapphire gets back from class and she gives him a hug.

"Hey."

"Hi, how was class?"

"It was fine, a little hard to focus though, with this on my mind and not being sure if I'll directly use it. How was studying? Did you talk to the Notebook?"

"I did," He lets out a breath. "I'm still worried but I think i was overly focused on Down To Earth and I trust you to make good choices and handle whatever story you end up in."

"I'm glad you're feeling better about it." She hugs him again. "And thanks, both for caring and for trusting me."

"You're welcome."

From there, the conversation gets less serious and they share a lunch of leftovers from last night's dinner before Tom has to go to class.

He does mention to her that he thinks she might be misunderstanding Love Is A Battlefield.

After he's left and she's cleaned up the dishes she sits down again with The Notebook.

So... I think at this point I should just acknowledge that I'm going for Isekai Roulette. I guess I could do Somewhere In Mind instead but Stay Here doesn't make sense with some of the choices I'm making.

The answer is an unequivocal yes until she gets back to Providential Parenthood. She spends a little time really thinking about the difference here.

I spent some time thinking about it and I think I'm going to stick to Providential Parenthood. Whether I'm actually ready is more important to me than if I think I'm ready. And I don't think I'd mind being surprised.

I was about to say that I could also still use more mundane sorts of birth control but I guess I don't know if taking Providential Parenthood or just being Spirit touched in general means that's less likely to work.

Mundane birth control can definitely work some of the time with Providential Parenthood, but not all of the time.
