Maxine gingerly reaches out and traces her fingers through Morrison's hair. 

It's soft.

... It feels really nice to be able to touch someone else like this. 

She smiles and strokes gently.

Morrison sighs happily and snuggles in, a soft expression on her face.

She pets Morrison gently, lingering in the closeness.

... It feels like something is healing.

Missouri smiles, fondly and proudly, and kisses Maxine's cheek again.

Morrison snuggles in happily and starts episode four. The student council's play is a cute idea.

Lexi nestles against Morrison some more.

Maxine is honestly having some trouble concentrating on the show, but it's okay.

She is petting a pretty girl and snuggling her and Missouri kissed her and...

She's just okay, in a way she hasn't been maybe ever in her whole life.

At the end of this episode, Lexington gets up. "Patrols never stop. I've got to go relieve Nola, get things back on schedule after the all-hands battle this morning."

She kisses Morrison softly. "Have some fun for me, okay Morri?"

She nods. "Be safe, Lexi."

She gives Lexington a quick kiss as well. "We'll be here when you get back, love."

She throws a soft smile Maxine's way for a moment, too. "Good to meet you and hang out, Maxine."

"Good to meet you too, Lexington." Maxine smiles and gives her a little wave goodbye. "Be safe."

"Definitely," she replies with a grin. And then she's gone.

Morrison snuggles in tighter.

Maxine gently squeezes Morrison.

What is there to say?

All she can do is hold her.

She just snuggles for a little longer.

Fletcher comes around to squeeze Morri from the other side.

And then Morrison shakes her head and grins. "Lexi'll be fine! Let's watch the next episode."

"Alright," she says. "Let's."

This episode features a friend asking Yuu for feedback on a novel. Missouri strokes Maxine's hair and shakes her head at the denial of her growing feelings for Touko.

Poor girl...

Honestly, a little relatable. She's been there. Not... directly, but...

Oh no, Touko's worrying about whether Yuu's catching feelings! Morrison clings into Maxine some more.

Oh dear. 

This is going to be such a mess. 

She pets Morrison softly, without really thinking about it.
