Lexington eyes Maxine thoughtfully for a moment, then nods, smiling. "I can see it. Probably spent a while lonely and confused, wondering if something was wrong with you."

"Awwwwwww!" Morrison hugs Maxine tighter.

"Nothing is or was wrong with you, Maxine." Missorui kisses her forehead and hugs her tightly as well.

Maxine blushes more. 

"... Thank you, Missouri. And everyone."

She nestles in a little more and smiles.

Morrison nods firmly, squeezes tighter, and starts the next episode.

Sayaka seems a bit cold. But it makes sense that there would be someone who was a rival for Touko's affections.

She snuggles into Morrison a little more and smiles.

Sayaka helps a lot, but she's not quite what Touko needs, is she?

Maybe...

The indirect kiss makes her smile a little.

She snuggles into Maxine and smiles.

When Touko suddenly kisses Yuu, Maxine gasps. 

"What??? It's only two episodes in!"

"I know, right? But the drama isn't over yet!"

Maxine watches, spellbound, as Touko asks Yuu not to love her but only be loved by her. 

"... That's unfair of her," Maxine says. "But I can see why she needs it."

Missouri strokes Maxine's hair and nods. "Sometimes any desire someone has for you feels like an expectation you cannot hope to live up to."

Maxine nods, and softly strokes Tenta-chan's side. 

"Yeah..." She ducks her head. "Everyone in this show is so relatable. I've never seen a story that... spoke to me like this before."

She snuggles in some more. "I'm glad you're getting a lot out of it. And I'm glad you've got people you can be close to, now, too. Ready for another?"

"Yeah, I think so. It'd be really nice to see how these two's relationship progresses..."

Then Morrison starts the next episode.

Maxine snuggles in a little more, and watches. 

The student council election seems stressful. Yuu organizing it for Touko seems... a little fraught.

Missouri mostly doesn't have comments on this part, and contents herself with petting Maxine some more.

Sayaka definitely is a bit possessive of Touko... But Yuu manages to pull off her campaign speech anyway. Maxine smiles. It seems like she's growing already...

Tenta-chan squishes her. <Just like you.>

<Awwwwww...>

"It's always really encouraging seeing people grow."

She looks up and smiles at Maxine as she says this, then snuggles back in.

"Yeah, it really is."

... should she risk it.  

"Morrison, um." She blushes and looks down. "Can I pet your hair?"

"You can!"
