A little girl, about four years younger than Sadde, walks into his room, frightened, and gawks 

Um, what should I do with her?

"...nothing." He looks at her. "Honey this is just a dream. Go back to bed and it'll be okay, right?"

The girl nods and goes back to bed.

Good, I thought I was going to have to do something scary or take her with us. She'll thank you later, I guess. 

And they're off!

He's a bit more subdued because of his sister but enjoys it anyway.

The flight to Faded Springs takes some hours.

And contrary to his prediction he does fall asleep.
