He frowns at her.

"Well I'm not that. Modest, I mean."

"Clearly. So, our mum's going to be here soon. She's angry, but not at you."

"Good, I didn't do anything wrong, if she was angry at me I wouldn't like her."

"Till then, do you want to play?"

"Yeah!"

He tugs his left ear. A few seconds later, a metal capsule shoots out from under the sand. He starts unpacking what looks like a superhero costume. "My power is more thinky than their's."

"Thinky?"

"We do things, he makes things."

"...I like his power better."

"But we can fly."

"Evan, can you not fly?"

"If I have my Suit on," he says, pulling it on. 

"Yeah, but me, Hannah, and Jacob can just do it, like the magical space virus intended."

"Copying people is just the same as having a Suit on."

"And being able to make incredible things is way more incredible than just being incredible."

"Then where's yours?"

"My what?"

"I was talking to Jacob."

"My what?" he mimics—normally, not exactly.

"Suit."

He just looks at her blankly.

"Point proven."

He looks at Sadde again. "Do you fly?"

"Umm I think I could if I tried..."
