Jacob shrugs.

And Sadde shifts.

"Neat. Can you change anything else?"

Now he has a beak.

"Do not mock the nobility of bird kind."

He tweets.

"You are offending the penguins."

Now he barks. With the beak.

"Get him!"

Now the penguins are swarming around his ankles.

"Don't get him," Jacob says, using his Moira-voice.

"You're not the queen, Jacob!"

"I didn't vote for you. And you're mean."

"You don't vote in a monarchy. And you're not even one of my subjects."

"You're still mean. He just arrived and you're being mean to him." He gets up and walks on over to Sadde. "Shoo," he tells the penguins.

"—um."

The penguins return to the sea.

He shifts back. "So you can turn into people?"

He nods. "If I know them very well."

"He can just copy powers, or do that and your personality, or full on shapeshift."

Another nod.

"My... personality?"

"Don't worry. He can't read minds."

"Okay."

"It's like he has dozens of powers. It's awesome."

Jacob shakes his head.
