ERO / Erogame Logic

The extent to which the world will bend—or can be bent by you—to create romantic and sexual situations in defiance of probability. Or at higher levels, physics.

At an ERO of 35, your life is a physically possible eroge that isn't pretending at all to be plausible—or it would be. Exceptional situations have caused your effective ERO to be reduced to 19: your life is rapidly becoming an improbable eroge, set in sexier surroundings, and no longer pretending to be totally plausible. The events that occurred to Imogene at a higher ERO than yours have not been retconned, but its least plausible elements are less salient to you.

Increases to this stat will not increase its actual, underlying value; instead, your effective ERO will be gradually unlocked until it reaches 35 or you have at least one other stat within five points of it and one within ten points of it, whichever happens first. In-game events and other situations where you push the boundaries of plausibility within the story may also increase that level of effect, but never in a way that breaks the above conditions.

You may of your own volition go looking for the higher-ERO situations and effects and unlock the stat in that way, but be prepared to increase your other stats if you do so; you'll need them.

* Overuse of the Probability Massage skill to cause events that are too improbable to occur may cause rapid increases to ERO.

She still does not really like the "you'll need them" clause there. It could have said "speedrunning is only fun for people who like speedrunning and your stats represent that you don't" or something.

...heh.

Okay. New game basically much like the old game, but maybe she will encounter other features as she goes about her day. She gets dressed, has some breakfast to fuel her tangoing, and sets out.
