The pair of espers don't need to do anything.  The DRT has a burly agent who's able and willing to perform a fireman's carry.  They'll worry about first aid once the victim isn't in a dungeon anymore.

... do their espers need a tent?  Or maybe a curtain?

Oh have they got a tent set up in here now? Yes please that would be great.

Well, they don't.  But they will.

In short order, a guiding tent is brought in and erected.  Right this way, sir-and-ma'am.

(Jeez, Lampshade doesn't look like she's doing great.  Backlash.)

She's doing fiiiiine. The world could be SO much more dissolved around her and she could still make the bips go bop. Trust.

Stash drags her off into the tent.

With that handled they can go looking for the next victim.

The next victim(with Lampshade's guidance) isn't allllll that far away.  It looks like there are a pair of "agents" striding the corridors, searching for trouble.  They seem alert, agitated.

Thanks to Kuroko's cover, the agents will find nothing. And then in short order, be nothing.

Lancet isn't even having to use her powers to take these guys down. It's kindof overkill for her to be doing this, instead of some DRT specialist. But enh, she's not complaining. It's nice to have some light duty once in a while.

Then they'll fall into a pattern.  Follow Lampshade's pings.  See agents, destroy them with hardly any backlash cost.  Get a video of a dungeon victim, let Stash yoink them out.  It's easy to fall into a natural rhythm.

Stash drops the next victim in the usual spot the DRT guys have been leaving clear for him. There's enough time between grabs to get both him and Lampshade down to sustainable levels of backlash, but they've gotta keep busy. So, back to business...

The victim staggers a little, after being teleported.

Huh, thinks Bateman.  This one's a little livelier than the others -

Wait... wasn't that a regular person a moment ago?? Like, a zonky person but... oh no.

Lampshade simultaneously sends out a DANGER!! ping to everyone nearby, and yanks hard on the monster's attention knobs in random directions.

Okay okay okay. Monster problem details unclear. He cautiously peeks out of the tent. Does this look like something for the DRT guys or should he be recalling Lancet in a hurry?

Fighting, when it really comes down to it, is an understanding of physics and psychology.

When your sense of attention is torn four different directions at once, it's hard to throw a punch, it's almost impossible to attack your opponent and maintain things like 'a sense of balance' or 'setting yourself up for a better position'.

This monster's psychology is roughly akin to a baseline human who has been given a witch's brew of amphetamines,  PCP and ten minutes to live.  It's falling from its crippled sense of proprioception, but it's falling forward -

Shit shit shit shit, thinks Bates.  The vic went crazy and he randomly felt like someone crawled over his grave for no reason and she has her arms around him and her inertia is taking him down - he wasn't braced for this - he's trying to get his legs between her and the rest of him but holy fuck she's strong -

Okay yeah Lancet is in the wrong place and should be right here right now.

Unlike Bates, Lancet has lots of experience with interpreting and responding to Lampshade's emergency alerts, and reorienting after Stash's teleports.

This lets her move to intercept nearly the moment she's there on the ground.

Still, the whole reason they all got Overpoked was because this dungeon has spooky mind control dust. Which means, despite the !DANGER! blaring in her mind, it's possible that's a mind-controlled civilian, and not some sort of insane imposter-kidnappee.

So instead of immediately gutting this one, she whips out a couple long ropes of her blood, coiling them around it and pulling tight.

She's flailing, wriggling, struggling - oddly silently, there's the pant of heavy breathing but there are no words.  Her face is screwed up in an expression of utter loathing and sheer hate.

Ugh what were supposed to be the tells on these things again. Do they have bellybuttons. ...It's not saying anything, that was one, right?

Lampshade clearly thinks this is not a human, from how completely obvious it seems to Lancet right now that this thing is a monster. And Lampshade would know... but all the other ones before looked like DRT. This is just some chick in pajamas!

She shouts to the DRT squad. "Check it! I'll hold it!"

Meanwhile she's running back to base, only half because nobody's talking to her.

"Wilco!  Morales, get the restraints!"  Enough victims are fighty or disoriented after dungeon experiences that they do carry any restraints.  They're far better than zipcuffs for comfort and safety.

Bates lends his bulk to the task of holding ankles and wrists in place long enough that they get cuffed.  And then double-cuffed, after a moment's thought.  This woman is strong enough to outmuscle Bates, there's no telling what she can manage.

During that particular wrestling match, Sato is trying to figure out how the fuck you check if someone's a monster or not.  The false agents didn't have a functional mouth, but he doesn't exactly want to put his fingers anywhere near this woman's face.

He winds up falling back to one of the oldest human techniques: poke it with a stick.  Will her mouth open?  How about now?

Okay yeah that is not how any human mouth. Death to monsters.

Lancet narrows the blood-ropes down to razor-thin and pulls them clean through.
