Yayyy not having to figure out clock directions and "dungeon north" even as the very concept of meaning dissolves into nothingness.

She creates a sharpened sense of alertness-to-danger in Kuroko and Lancet's minds tracking each of the located mobs. It makes that direction feel more intuitively hazardous, like if you contemplated "where would I expect a monster to come from?", there would just be an obvious-feeling answer even if every direction looks exactly the same on the face of it.

"Huh. Interesting."

One last quick check of equipment, including the camera feed for Stash and then they can go?

Equipment is good.  The camera lead reveals the dungeon as it is: implausibly white, metallic-looking hallways.  The doors at the end of these hallways have no visible handles.  It looks like something out of a science fiction film.

"Creepy."

"How do you suppose we get through the doors?" She's a little reluctant to just try poking one, lest they zap her on contact or something.

"We could see if there's a way around. Or follow one of the monsters through. Presumably they have a way to get through them."

"I hope it's, like, keycards, and not the dungeon magically recognizing the monsters themselves. I don't want to have to tailgate a monster the entire way through the dungeon and hope they decide to check on all the vics."

"Stealing a keycard would be very spy movie but it's at least as likely to be magic bullshit probably."

"Yeah. I guess let's go poke at the door and if it won't open we can try and lure a monster over to open it for us."

"Sure."

As it transpires, approaching the door is sufficient to open it.  Perhaps fifty feet beyond the doorway, there's a masked, suited-up DRT operative who is looking decidedly puzzled, looking left, right, looking everywhere but in your direction.

Looks like a perfect opportunity for slicing and dicing.

Perfect, indeed.  The 'agent' is not significantly tougher than a normal human, and can't mount any kind of resistance when it isn't allowed to notice its attacker.

Easy peasy. Lancet sweeps an "after you milady" bow to Kuroko over the crumpled body.

Thumbs up and down the hallway.

Speaking quietly, "Let's see if it was guarding victims."

Lampshade has been expanding her range cautiously, lest lots of minds all pop into her awareness at once. As each new mind she discovers comes into her reach, she assesses its mobliness vs humanity and puts an attentional ping tracking it into Lancet and Kuroko's sensory processing.

With that closest one down, she can inch her radius out a bit further, and a few more minds come into her sensing range. As they do, Lancet and Kuroko can also notice changes to their intuitions about where the nearest victims might be.

For example, it's obvious if you think about it that there would be a victim a bit over thisaway.

Over thisaway they will go then!

'Thisaway' winds up being another fifty-some feet away.  There seems to be a 'DRT agent' guarding her.

Easily-enough dispatched.

The victim is behind a door.  This one doesn't open automatically when approached, and the only reason the victim is visible is because of a small slotted hatch in the door.

The victim seems to be largely insensate, strapped into an examination bed, wearing a hospital gown and a mask that's connected to a machine of unknown function.  It looks like something a dentist might have used to apply nitrous oxide.  She could almost look peaceful, if one didn't have context.

She switches on her comms unit "First victim, is the visual good enough?""

"Roger. It's a bit hard to see through the door, if you can get the camera close enough to the hatch to get her full body in frame I should be able to work with that."

"Roger that, let me know when it's good."

She moves around slowly and carefully to try to position the camera.

Once Stash feels he has a solid grasp on how the victim's position and how he would reach them, he casts out and pulls. Presently, the victim is lying on the floor right beside him and Lampshade.

Hopefully DRT can handle any necessary first aid, because right now Stash needs to furiously solve several sudoku while clinging to Lampshade, because hoo boy things are not where they are supposed to be.

Lampshade is so on board with this. Everything has been getting kinda loud and bright and overwhelming and Stash is so soothing to snuggle. Mmmmmm yay something that makes easy sense.
