Nope. Feels like it's too much of a leap all at once.

Less visible.

"Oh, hey, you hid it."

...Invisible to everyone else and less visible to her.

It feels like a wire, sort of. Curved seems to be out for now, too, but she can move the ends of one already placed around a bit.

Huh. She experiments with that.

They can cross corners and hang on to surfaces of solids or liquids. They can't terminate in midair. Yet, it feels like.

All this exercise of her magic is leaving it feeling satisfied and stretched, like muscles after a good workout.

Oh, that's lovely.

Can she make the wires different colors?

Yep, that's easy.

Yay! Can she make it thicker?

Streeetch... No. Her magic is done doing new things for now.

Awww. Oh well, she can still do the sprinkleroid.

Yep, that's an established trick. Though it takes a few seconds for her to get it going again, and it's smaller now.

"Tired out your magic? Good job, that's the best sort of practice to do early on. It'll get bigger."

"Yeah, magic is pretty fun! Have I showed you what I can do to plants? I'm a lot less skilled at it compared to talking to animals, and my constructs, but it's what I started with."

"You haven't! You should!"

"Will do, as soon as we clean up here. These guys' playtime is about done anyway."

"Okay." She will play with dogs and water until playtime is completely over.

And then they walk across the street to his house, stop in the garden.

He closes his eyes and breathes in, out. In, out. The plants move with his breath, a bit. The bush fluffs up and collapses. The grass waves rhythmically. The flowers bend left and right.

And then he starts - some kind of martial arts kata, or possibly just tai chi, it seems less aggressive than most martial arts - and the big tree pulls itself up by the roots and follows his motions with surprisingly quiet groaning of wood and rustling of leaves, and dull thumps every time its weight shifts.

The motions are peaceful and slow and in time with his breathing.

He almost-dances the tree around for about ten minutes before maneuvering it back to the starting point and burying the roots and letting it settle into a resting position. The only sign that it moved is the new curve to two of the branches, shaped almost like welcoming arms toward Anna-Seraphina.

"Whoo. I almost forgot how hard that could be."

She is literally speechless with delight.

"Say, think I should make a video of that and put it on this 'you tube' thing I hear teenagers talking about?"

She giggles. "Are you doing that on purpose?"
