She's green for now but she should probably take a break soon. If there's a staging area for espers she could do a round of checks and see if she can find a local guide.

Well, there's one more vic two streets over?  This one's going to be easy, probably, they just want a little help clearing out the emergency stairs of a questionably stable building.  She can see in from the street, they just don't want to use a ladder if they don't have to.

Sure, she can help with that.

On her way over, Graviton encounters something of an odd sight.  It looks like there's a person in a doorway.  They're just staring out across the street.  They sway a little bit, if Graviton decides she wants to keep looking at them.

On one hand this is not her job right now, on the other hand somewhat concerning.

"Hello?"

He twitches, a little.  He doesn't really look at her though.

"Do you need help?"

If he does, he's not telling her about it.  He sways a little in place, like someone who's been standing for a while and trying to combat muscle fatigue.

She'll gt a little closer "Sir? Can you hear me?" Hmm, this is California, "Habla espanol?" That's her most advanced Spanish but she can bring up translation on her phone if necessary.

He can probably hear Graviton.  Whenever she speaks, he twitches a little.  There's someone home, he's just not answering the door.

Does he react if she moves to within conversational distance and waves a hand in front of his face?

A little?  His eyes are starting to track the movement.  He doesn't say anything, though.

Hand on shoulder?

She's concerned this guy might be on drugs or something. There's not a lot she can do for him in that instance except call emergency services and try to find somebody nearby to agree to stay with him  until they actually manage to show up but still...

That breaks him free, a little bit.  His eyes are focusing on her arm, and he makes a confused huffing noise.

Progress?

She'll give the shoulder a little squeeze. "Hello, do you need help?"

As she squeezes his shoulder, he twitches a little more.  His eyes find hers.  Thanks to Esper Eyesight, it's clear to see that his pupils are quite dilated.  His eyes aren't bloodshot, though.  No smell of marijuana or alcohol.

It's hard to put a finger on exactly why, but it looks like he's struggling to focus on her?

She's going to glance past him into the doorway to see if there's any hints and/or some place to try to get the guy to sit down since he looks exhausted which can't be helping anything.

Well, he's standing pretty much in the doorway.  The door's been left open.  There's a cell phone on the floor behind him, but apart from that it looks like an apartment entrance: there's quite a few mailboxes on the left-hand side.  Stairs and an elevator behind him.  It looks like a package got delivered and promptly ignored or forgotten about.

He's starting to track her better.  He's turning his head to follow her, now.

Can she read the label on the package? It might not be his but it might be and people usually respond better if you use their names.

She has to brush past him to get in and read it, which seems to wake him up a little more.  'Drew Aching' is the name on the package.

He turns around to look at her, so.  Progress!

"Mr. Aching? Is that you?"

There's a flicker of recognition.  His lips work for a moment.  After about ten seconds he responds, "Yes..?"  He doesn't sound so good.  He's hoarse and his voice is quavering.

"Thank you Mr. Aching, Are you hurt? Sick? Is this your phone?"

He does reach out for it, begins to kneel for it - he staggers -

Esper reflexes are more than good enough to catch him. And grab the phone.

"I think you should sit down on the stairs."

Unless he very strenuously objects he's getting hauled over to the stairs and sat. This is a temporary solution but still.
